Terms of Use

These terms apply to No Contact AI ("the app", "we", "us"), an iPhone app made by Asif Safarov, an independent developer. By using the app you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Apple's license agreement

The app is licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "EULA"). These terms add to the EULA. Where the two conflict, the EULA wins.

2. What the app is

No Contact AI is a self-help app for keeping no contact after a breakup: a counter of days since your last contact, an SOS for the moment you want to reach out, a slip log, daily check-ins, a weekly recap, and an optional AI coach. It is not medical care, and nothing in it is a diagnosis or treatment.

3. The AI coach

• The coach is an AI, not a therapist or a person. Its replies are written by an AI model from OpenAI. They can be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable for you. Do not rely on them for decisions about your health, your safety or the law.
• The coach is not an emergency service and cannot call for help.
• Nothing is sent to the coach until you allow it, and you can withdraw that permission in Settings. What is sent, and where, is set out in the Privacy Policy.
• Free use of the coach is limited per day; the app shows how many messages are left. Pro removes that limit. The coach needs an internet connection and our server, and may sometimes be unavailable.
• The app checks coach messages for words about suicide, self-harm or hurting someone, and shows crisis resources when it finds them. This check can miss things.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. If you are under 18, use it only with the permission of a parent or guardian.

6. Your data and no account

The app has no account. Your counter, check-ins, slips, SOS letters and chats are kept on your iPhone, so we cannot restore them if you lose your phone or delete the app. You can export them at any time in Settings → Your data → Export my data. "Delete everything" in Settings cannot be undone.

7. Pro, subscriptions and auto-renewal

• The counter, the SOS, check-ins, the weekly recap, the slip log, reminders, export and a daily number of coach messages are free. No Contact AI Pro adds unlimited coach messages and your patterns.
• Pro is sold through Apple's App Store as an auto-renewing weekly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. The price and the length of each plan are shown in the app before you buy.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• A subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
• You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store account settings (on iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions), or from the app's Settings → Manage subscription. Deleting the app, or using "Delete everything", does not cancel a subscription.
• If a plan includes a free trial, the app shows it, with its length, only when Apple says your Apple ID is eligible. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and is charged when the trial ends. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Purchases can be restored on another device signed in to the same Apple ID with "Restore Purchases" on the paywall or "Restore purchase" in Settings.
• The monthly plan of version 1.0 is no longer sold. If you have it, it keeps Pro active until you cancel it.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the app for anything unlawful;
• use the app, or the coach, to contact, harass, threaten or monitor another person;
• overload, probe or abuse the coach or our server, or try to get around the free limit or the safety checks;
• copy, resell or reverse-engineer the app, except as the law allows.

We may limit or block access to the coach for an install that abuses it.

9. Changes to the app

We may change, add or remove features, including the coach's free limit, and may stop offering the app. Paid Pro features stay available for the subscription period you paid for, or, for a lifetime purchase, for as long as we offer the app.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, or that the coach's replies will be accurate or right for you. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law of your country.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the app after a change, the new terms apply.
