NoContact AI ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application ("App").

1. Information We Collect

Data stored on your device: Your breakup date, mood entries, journal logs, streak data, and AI conversation history are stored locally on your device using encrypted storage. We do not have access to this data.

Data sent to our servers: When you use the AI chat feature, your messages are sent to our secure server to generate AI responses via OpenAI. We do not store your conversation content on our servers after the response is generated.

Subscription data: If you subscribe to NoContact AI Premium, Apple handles all payment processing. We receive a anonymized purchase receipt to verify your subscription status but do not have access to your payment details.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide AI-powered chat support and emotional analysis
• To generate weekly summaries of your recovery progress
• To verify subscription status
• To improve our AI responses and app experience

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. AI chat messages are processed through OpenAI's API, which is subject to OpenAI's Privacy Policy. We have a data processing agreement with OpenAI that prohibits them from using your data for training purposes.

4. Data Storage & Security

All personal data (mood logs, journal entries, streak data) is stored exclusively on your device using MMKV encrypted storage. AI chat processing is ephemeral — messages are sent, a response is generated, and no server-side logs are retained.

5. Your Rights

• Delete your data: You can delete all local data from the Settings screen at any time.
• Export your data: We're working on data export features for a future update.
• Opt out of AI: You can use the app without the AI chat feature — streak tracking, mood logging, and journaling work entirely offline.

6. Children's Privacy

NoContact AI is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us immediately.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the app and on this page with an updated revision date.
